Thesis Synopsis Seminar : B.D. final year students will be presenting their thesis synopsis on February 5, 2020 (Wednesday) at Carey Library and Research Center at 2:30 P.M. They are expected to summarize their thesis in two pages and present the same before the faculty and students. This is a time of testing for thesis writing student on their expertise on their respective subject. This exercise helps the student as perspectives and suggestions come from different theological disciplines to enrich their works.
Academic Seminar : Serampore College: Faculty of Theology conducted Academic Seminar every month. For the February Academic Seminar, paper will be presented by Rev. K. Laltlankima, Secretary and Asst. Professor, Department of Theology and Ethics on the topic “The Contributions of the Bible in Enriching Literature” on February 6, 2020. As has been the practice for many years, this seminar will be attended by faculty members, and students of Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programmes.
Elocution Competition : Elocution Competition is a regular programme of Serampore College: Faculty of Theology. This year, the competition is scheduled on February 4, 2020. In this competition, two students from the four classes of Bachelor of Divinity programme will represent their college and speak on any one from the topic below:
1) Citizenship Amendment Act
2) Human Trafficking
3) Rise of Religious Fundamentalism
4) Ecology and Technology
